The start of the holiday season is coming even earlier this year, with many large retailers opening on Thanksgiving evening or even earlier. Even shopping malls are getting into the early opening act, with the Oxford Valley, Montgomery and Willow Grove Park Malls planning 8 p.m. openings on Thursday and events throughout Thursday and Friday. Some people plan to boycott stores that are opening early, but 33 million Americans are still expected to shop at some time on Thursday.
